EZVIZ is the easiest Wi-Fi camera brand for most Indian homes, Imou offers the best value per feature, and Reolink is the pick if you want local recording and fewer subscriptions. For a multi-camera or premium setup, expect roughly ₹15,000 and up across all three.

This comparison is researched at brand and range level from specs, app descriptions and owner feedback; I have not tested the cameras. Before buying, check whether the specific model uses 2.4 GHz only or also 5 GHz, and whether it records to SD card without a cloud subscription.

Prices below are approximate and can change during sales, so check the live price on Amazon before you buy.

Quick Pick: For a multi-camera home kit, pick by storage preference: EZVIZ for simplicity, Imou for value, Reolink for local recording. Check Wi-Fi security cameras on Amazon.

The short version

All three make Wi-Fi cameras with 2K or 4K options, night vision and app alerts. The difference is in the ecosystem: how polished the app feels, how storage is handled, and how easy it is to get service in India.

Apps and ecosystem

EZVIZ has a clean, beginner-friendly app and wide range of indoor cameras, outdoor cameras and doorbells. Setup is usually a few taps and QR scans. It integrates with Alexa and Google Assistant.

Imou, owned by Dahua, has a capable app with strong basic features, including person detection on several models and good multi-camera views. It is slightly busier but covers a lot of ground for the price.

Reolink's app is more technical. It exposes more settings, supports RTSP and ONVIF on many models, and suits those who want to plug the camera into an NVR or home server. A beginner may find it fussy.

Cloud versus SD card

EZVIZ pushes cloud plans for longer history but works with SD cards for local recording. Imou does the same, with a cloud option and microSD support. Reolink leans on local storage: microSD, and its own PoE NVR kits, with cloud as optional.

If you dislike monthly fees, Reolink is the natural fit. If you want easy cloud clips and do not mind paying, EZVIZ and Imou are simple.

Reolink: best for local recording and PoE kits

Roughly ₹15,000-30,000 for a multi-camera PoE kit or premium Wi-Fi models. Reolink offers 4K cameras, colour night vision with spotlights, and PoE NVR kits for stable wiring.

The trade-off is that its Wi-Fi cameras can be less polished in the app, and local after-sales support is lighter than that of larger brands. Browse Reolink Wi-Fi camera.

EZVIZ: best for ease of use

Roughly ₹15,000-25,000 for premium and multi-camera setups. EZVIZ cameras have pan-tilt options, two-way audio, and good build, with a smooth app and widely available units in India.

Skip it if you hate cloud nudges; the app promotes subscription features. See EZVIZ Wi-Fi camera.

Imou: best for value and features

Roughly ₹15,000-22,000 for a bundle of several cameras. Imou, backed by Dahua, packs in smart detection, colour night vision and pan-tilt, usually at lower prices.

The honest limit is that app polish and long-term firmware updates may lag, and quality varies across its large range. See Imou Wi-Fi camera.

Wi-Fi band and range

Most cameras here are 2.4 GHz for longer range through walls. Some Reolink and EZVIZ models add 5 GHz for faster video but shorter range. In an Indian flat with thick walls, a 2.4 GHz camera near the router works best; a mesh system helps for far rooms. Check mesh Wi-Fi system.

Support and warranty

Warranty is typically one year, handled through the brand's distributors or Amazon. Ask which service centre covers your city before buying; for a camera with a failed power supply, turnaround can take weeks. EZVIZ and Imou are generally easier to find service for than Reolink in smaller cities.

Other things worth comparing

Spotlight and siren are present on many models. Check that SD card support is up to 256GB, since high-endurance cards matter. Look for a model with a local alarm so a robber hears a siren even if the Wi-Fi is cut. See high endurance microSD card.

Who should skip Wi-Fi cameras

Skip all three if you need wired reliability across a large property; a PoE NVR kit is safer. Also skip if your Wi-Fi is weak: cameras will drop and miss events.

Recommendation

Choose EZVIZ if you want the simplest setup and polished app. Choose Imou if you want the best feature-for-price and accept a busier app. Choose Reolink if you want local recording, RTSP and PoE options with no subscription. For most renters, EZVIZ is the least stressful; for tinkerers, Reolink.
