The Redmi Smart TV A32 (₹13,999) is the best smart TV under ₹15000 in India — Xiaomi's ecosystem integration, Android TV 11, HDR10, and reliable after-sales support make it the clear leader in India's most competitive TV price segment.

Redmi Smart TV A32 — ₹13,999

Best under ₹15000. Redmi's 32-inch HD Ready (1366x768) smart TV runs Android TV 11 with Google Play Store, Google Assistant, and Chromecast built-in. HDR10 support enhances contrast on compatible streaming content. 20W dual speaker system with Dolby Audio certification — noticeably louder and clearer than similarly priced competitors. 3 HDMI and 2 USB ports.

Xiaomi/Redmi service centres are available across tier-1 and tier-2 Indian cities — a practical advantage over lesser-known brands when a panel issue arises.

OnePlus TV Y1S 32" — ₹14,999

Best Android experience under ₹15000. OnePlus's implementation of Android TV is notably cleaner than Redmi's — less bloatware, faster UI response, and more frequent security updates. At ₹14,999, it's ₹1000 more than the Redmi A32 but offers a more premium software experience. OnePlus's customer service in India is strong in metro cities.

Thomson B9 Pro 32" — ₹11,999

Best budget under ₹12000. Thomson B9 Pro delivers 32" HD display, Android TV, and a 24W speaker system (louder than Redmi) at ₹11,999. The Bezel-less design gives it a more premium look than its price suggests. Service availability is the concern — Thomson's India service network is thinner than Redmi or OnePlus.

What to Expect Under ₹15000

HD Ready, not Full HD. All TVs under ₹15000 are HD Ready (1366x768). Full HD (1920x1080) starts at ₹18,000+. For 32-inch TVs, the difference is less noticeable than on larger screens — at typical Indian TV viewing distances (2–3 metres), HD Ready is adequate for 32".

Android TV vs other OS. Android TV (Google ecosystem) is the most versatile — access to the Play Store with all major streaming apps (Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Hotstar, YouTube). Budget TVs from lesser brands often run restricted Android variants that limit app installation.

Speaker quality matters. In small rooms, TV speakers are often the primary audio source. Prioritise 20W+ stereo speakers over lesser alternatives if you don't own a separate soundbar.
