Best Gaming PC Build Under ₹1 Lakh India 2026
A good ₹1 lakh gaming PC pairs a six-core CPU (roughly ₹15,000-20,000) with an RTX 4060 class GPU (roughly ₹28,000-34,000), 16GB RAM, a 1TB NVMe SSD and a quality 650W PSU.

A good ₹1 lakh gaming PC pairs a six-core CPU (roughly ₹15,000-20,000) with an RTX 4060 class GPU (roughly ₹28,000-34,000), 16GB of RAM, a 1TB NVMe SSD and a quality 650W power supply, for roughly ₹85,000-98,000 in parts. Put the biggest slice of money into the graphics card and keep the rest balanced.
This plan is researched at component and brand level from published specifications, not from building and benchmarking this exact PC. Before buying, check live prices on each part, because RAM and GPU prices have swung a lot, and confirm CPU and motherboard socket compatibility.
Prices below are approximate and can change during sales, so check the live price on Amazon before you buy.
Quick Pick: Build around a Ryzen 5 class CPU and an RTX 4060 class GPU, with roughly ₹30,000 on the GPU, ₹16,000 on the CPU and the rest split across board, RAM, storage, PSU and case.
The budget split
A sensible allocation for around ₹1 lakh: GPU roughly 33 percent (₹28,000-34,000), CPU 17 percent (₹15,000-20,000), motherboard 11 percent (₹9,000-13,000), RAM 7 percent (₹5,000-9,000 for 16GB, depending on market), SSD 7 percent (₹5,000-8,000 for 1TB NVMe), PSU 6 percent (₹5,000-7,000), case 5 percent (₹3,500-6,000) and CPU cooler 3 percent (₹1,500-3,500). That totals roughly ₹85,000-98,000, leaving room for a monitor top-up or tax variations.
Note this excludes the monitor, keyboard and mouse, which can add ₹10,000 to ₹25,000 for decent versions. Decide whether the ₹1 lakh covers those.
CPU
A six-core, twelve-thread CPU is enough. AMD Ryzen 5 chips in the 5600, 7500F or 7600 class, or Intel Core i5 chips in the 12400F to 13400F class, are the usual choices. AMD's AM5 platform (7500F, 7600) costs more but gives a longer upgrade path, while the older AM4 platform (5600) is cheaper. Compare Ryzen 5 5600 processor if you want to save.
Pick an F-series Intel CPU or a non-G AMD CPU only because you will use a dedicated GPU.
GPU
An RTX 4060 class card (8GB) at roughly ₹28,000-34,000 handles 1080p high settings and many 1440p games. An RX 7600 class card at roughly ₹24,000-28,000 saves money. If budget allows, an RTX 4060 Ti or RX 7600 XT 16GB moves you up. Check RTX 4060 8GB graphics card listings for the live price, as newer generations may have changed what is available.
Motherboard and RAM
Choose a board matching your CPU socket: a B650 for AM5, B550 for AM4, or B660 and B760 for Intel. Do not overspend, but avoid the very cheapest boards with weak power delivery. For RAM, 16GB (2x8GB) is the minimum, and dual channel matters for performance. DDR5 for AM5 and newer Intel boards costs more than DDR4, and memory prices have been volatile, so check the live number. Look at DDR5 16GB kit options.
If cost is tight, buy 16GB now and add another 16GB later.
Storage
A 1TB NVMe SSD is the baseline, as modern games are 100GB or more. PCIe 3.0 or 4.0 drives from reputable brands are fine for gaming, and the difference between them in real use is small. See 1TB NVMe SSD listings, and avoid no-name drives with poor endurance.
Power supply
Do not save on the PSU. A 650W 80 Plus Bronze unit from a reputable brand handles this build and leaves headroom for upgrades. A bad PSU can damage other parts. Check 650W 80 plus bronze PSU listings from established brands.
Case and cooling
Choose a case with a mesh front panel and good airflow, and one that fits the GPU length. A decent budget case with two or three pre-installed fans costs ₹3,500-6,000. The stock CPU cooler that comes with some Ryzen chips may be adequate for a Ryzen 5, but a ₹1,500-3,000 tower cooler is quieter. Browse airflow PC cabinet with mesh front listings.
Upgrade path
A build on AM5 can accept a faster CPU later, while AM4 is at the end of its life. The GPU is the part you will upgrade next, in two or three years, and a 650W PSU supports a mid-range upgrade. Leave a free M.2 slot and RAM slots open for expansion.
Where to save and where not to
Save on the case, RGB and the cooler. Do not save on the PSU, the SSD brand or the motherboard's power delivery. Buying a prebuilt gaming PC for the same money often means a weaker PSU, an unbranded board and less choice, though it saves assembly time.
Recommendation
Buy a Ryzen 5 or Core i5 class CPU, an RTX 4060 class GPU, a matching B-series board, 16GB of RAM, a 1TB NVMe SSD, a quality 650W PSU and an airflow case. Expect roughly ₹85,000-98,000 in parts at typical prices, and recheck every price before you check out. Spend leftover money on a better monitor, since a 1080p 144Hz screen shows off the GPU more than a faster CPU would.
